About two years ago, I, Chris Flores CPT, left my job as an operator engineer to pursue my passion in fitness & personal training, and haven't looked back.
My wife, Kyleen, a registered nurse, and I have been doing life together for 23 years and have two children.
After many years of living unhealthy, combined with the grind of a fast paced life, we began to notice the impact of not having balance and desired something more for ourselves, our children, and those around us.
We love adventure. Understand we are better together, because we've been through some stuff! We are a bit unorthodox. Enjoy nature, traveling, & sarcasm. Lots of sarcasm.
We have a passion to use what we have in front of us to challenge ourselves and others. Believe we should never be too "comfortable" because we don't grow in those places, and we appreciate simplicity.
We workout in the parks, city streets and even garages, because we want to be a part of the community of people we value & treasure our work with other Sheboygan small businesses who are fighting for the same goals to reach the community we live in!
We believe physical fitness is important, but so are mental/emotional, spiritual, and nutritional health. We believe in a holistic approach to health and if you want to stand at the SUMMIT, you must endure the climb!

With over 10 years of experience in physical fitness, Chris specializes in functional fitness and strength training. His approach empowers clients to build lasting habits and reach new heights—both physically and mentally. "Work hard, laugh often, feel good."
Brent Neevel
Coach/Personal Trainer
Brent focuses on creating customized workout plans for individual needs. His energetic style motivates clients to push their limits while helping people find the best version of themselves. Brent & his wife, Gina were former owners of Fit Body Bootcamp.

Kyleen is the welcoming, creative face of The Summit Health & Fitness. With extensive knowledge of our services and community offerings, Kyleen is here to assist you in every step of your fitness journey, ensuring you feel like family. As a Registered Nurse, she has a passion for healthy living and incorporating nature & a holistic approach to your health journey. You are guaranteed to see her at a work out...with a camera in her hand.

Can't get enough of The Summit! The combo of HIIT days and slower paced strength days are the perfect balance to keep me moving with intention every day, while avoiding the extreme soreness I experienced with past formats that led to missed days just to recover. The coaches all bring so much value and fun to each and every workout and the supportive culture they've created made me feel like the coaches and other clients were family from the first day I walked in.
Summit Fitness has reignited my love for working out. The atmosphere is energizing, and the community feels like one big family. The coaches are incredible—they really take the time to understand your goals and push you to reach your full potential. Their personalized guidance and encouragement make all the difference. It’s not just about the workouts; it’s the support, motivation, and camaraderie that make every session feel rewarding. Summit Fitness has helped me grow stronger and more passionate about fitness, and I’m grateful for this amazing place.
I take private boxing lessons with Chris. He's awesome - truly cares about each individual he works with. Not only is he building his business, but also a community. I love the workouts in the summer at different parks in Sheboygan- a unique element to fitness that nobody else is doing. If you're considering joining, you should!!!
Uncovering my love for strength has been amazing. Being strong is so incredibly empowering. I’m taking all I learn and I’m able to teach my kids in their strength training. I love learning and growing and at the same time having fun. I love to be pushed and challenged and also celebrated! I’m thankful for all of my fitness journeys because all the people in this journey truly care about me and all their clients. If anyone is scared or don’t know where to start… just walk in the door find the support… you won’t be disappointed.. plus you’ll make a friend to a few!
This is the first gym I’ve regularly attended for such an extended period. I’ve been a member of The Summit Health and Fitness for over a year (at least three days a week), joining right when they opened. It’s been amazing to see the group grow from its humble beginnings to the vibrant group it is now! I love the outdoor workouts, and I remember when we had to use the garage during rainy days. Now, they have a stylish mobile trailer for the summer and a nice space at City Church for the winter! The coaches are incredibly encouraging, supportive, energetic, and always ready to help with form, ensuring we focus on technique before adding weight. I’m proud to call The Summit my fitness home.
I’ve tried to get back into working on my health other ways/at other gyms but The Summit Health and Fitness is where I’ve found the most success in being consistent. I love the outdoor workouts and that there is still time spent in the gym working on technique. I am beyond grateful to have found them!
Great Environment, Great People, All ages, which is awesome to see! Ultimately I can only do so much when I work out by myself, I had set limits based on comfort. Years removed from my torn Achilles I was struggling to really find a space where I was comfortable to to test what I had left in the tank. We found summit fitness and it’s a perfect match. The members and the coaching team are awesome to be around. Safety & technique is real, after that I found myself being pushed further than I would have pushed myself (not over the top) to a perfect challenge. Also, the boys (5 & 6) are fans of Rusty & Chris so that’s always an added bonus!
I wasn't sure where to go when my gym closed in 2022. I tried a couple of options over the following 12 months & nothing felt quite right. Mid-2023 a change occurred in my work that meant more demand on my time. I knew I needed to have scheduled workout sessions to keep my mind healthy & myself balanced. Coincidentally, I had learned that Chris was opening his own gym & taking on new clients. Win for me! It has been great to see Chris & Kyleen grow their business, their tribe, & to be a part of it. The additional bonus is Brent, the coach from my original gym which closed, has come on board a few months ago too! The coaches & members all encourage & support one another. When I injured myself earlier in the year the care & concern was...
